Having lived in Toronto, the south shore of Nova Scotia, and now Collingwood, Ontario, and traveled to Hawaii, New Zealand, Paris, NYC, Peru, Sanibel Island and beyond, I am impacted by my environment and also by what is going on in the world, my life and body. Unconsciously, the artwork reflects my outer and inner landscape. Although the process itself is always a pleasure, the end results vary day by day, hour by hour. To have seen Joan Mitchell’s paintings recently at the AGO and received Blue Territory from a friend at the same time were serendipitous occurrences that support and encourage me. Ten foot canvases await.
Chris’ brother, Rick and his wife, Karen holding her painting, “Beach at Seaside” that they bought and had framed.
Chris is an incredible artist and a supportive mentor in all things creative. She “sees” things that are not always visible to others. This is the core of her work. She has incredible knowledge. skill, and talent. She is devoted to her craft. She is an artistic perfectionist.
